NAVRATRI CELEBRATIONS 2020

Wearing masks against corona virus, Gobind Sadan residents celebrated Navratri with the usual love and enthusiasm. For 9 days, Pandit Jogendra Mishra conducted rites in Maharaj’s World Peace Havan, with Vakil Sahib (Ranvir Singh Khanna) and Hardip Singh representing Gobind Sadan. On the 9^th and final day, celebrations began at Mataji’s mandir on the Pahari, with malis and their families lovingly doing havan, aarti, and feeding young girls in Mataji’s honour. Then the activities began at World Peace Havan, including special havan, aarti, honouring of one young girl like the Goddess, symbolic sacrificing of pumpkin, and footwashing and feeding of young girls. Jathedar TV, a YouTube channel, filmed the proceedings. They were amazed and delighted to see Navratri celebrated so lovingly in a gurdwara.
