Siri Guru Arjun ji at Barath

Babaji offers gaggars of holy water from his baoli (holy spring) for Tarn Tarn Sahib Srovar – Til today this tank of holy water has never gone dry

Guru Arjan Dev ji visited Baba ji at Barath in AD 1598. Two sites still commemorate their meeting. Where the Gurdwara stands today, Guru ji used to wait each day for Babaji to come out of meditation. A second site, a mile away in what was then a jungle, marked the place where Guru Arjan Dev ji used to sleep.  When Guru ji shared his goal of writing the Guru Granth Sahib, Babaji gave whatever handwritten bani he still had and suggested that Guru ji obtain the other portions from Baba Mohan ji. Guru ji recited 16 Asatpadis of Sukhmani Sahib. Babaji suggested that he
increase the bani to 24 verses. On Guruji’s request, Babaji provided the line to resume the 17th Astpadi. He respectfully chose Guru Nanak Dev ji’s verse:

“Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Hai bhee Sach, Nanak Hosee bhee Sach”
God is Truth from time immemorial, Truth in the future, Truth today,
O Nanak, God will always be Eternal Truth.

“Keep growing in love for your Master. Do not look to this side or that or even at the path ahead, because people will always be criticizing you.”

Baba Virsa Singh

“Trees do not wear crosses, but the great spiritual beings see God in trees. Water has no symbols, but Guru Gobind Singh says, ‘My God is in water.”

Baba Virsa Singh JI

"We do spiritual practices to gradually prepare the way for enlightenment. It does not come immediately."

Baba Virsa Singh JI

"Management does not change things. It is God who changes people."

Baba Virsa Singh JI

"Our mind is not controlled. It is a fire fed by wood from the whole world."

Baba Virsa Singh JI

"Think that everything in this world exists with God’s blessings, whether we regard it as pleasant or unpleasant."

Baba Virsa Singh JI

"First look within yourself, and then you will see God everywhere."

Baba Virsa Singh JI
