In honor of His Holiness Baba Virsa Singh ji, Friday, 20 February, 2009 has been declared Interfaith Understanding Day by proclamation of the Onondaga County Executive, Joanne Mahoney, and by the citation of the New York State District Assemblyman, Will Barclay. Gurbachan Singh, on behalf of Gobind Sadan, USA also received a letter from the newly elected U.S. Congressman, Daniel Maffei. (see documents below).
