Eight days of celebrations, 3 major public functions, continuous Akhand Paths, prayers, kirtan, and havans, a kavi darbar (poet’s court) and nightly cultural programs capped by a 4 hour tribute to Babaji by Punjab’s most famous popular singer, Gurdas Mann. This was Baba Virsa Singh ji’s birthday week 2007 at Gobind Sadan.

Sunday – Gurdas Mann

February 18th to 25th marked an amazingly full and blessed time for Gobind Sadan as devotees from Russia, the U.S., India and many other countries converged to celebrate the birthday of their beloved Baba Virsa Singh.

Babaji stressed that the main focus of the celebration should be “tapasya,” or spiritual practice, and to complement the 24 prayer cycle, organizers put together events to spotlight key areas of Babaji’s lifetime work and provided entertainment each night to the gathering.
