Homecoming of Parkash Singh Badal

On 24 January, 2013, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, paid a return visit to Gobind Sadan. He expressed his happiness at seeing the sangat again and said, “I have a very old connection with Baba Virsa Singh Ji Maharaj. Whenever I used to come to Delhi, I always did two things—I always went to bow at Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, and I always came to Gobind Sadan to have the darshan of Baba Virsa Singh Ji. Using his far-reaching spiritual power, he always prayed for me. His going was a great loss for the country and for me as well. But the Great Holy Person is surely still sitting here and we are surely still receiving his blessings.” On behalf of the Baba Virsa Singh Ji Maharaj Memorial Trust, Hardip Singh presented Chief Minister Badal with a large framed portrait of Baba Virsa Singh Ji.
